I thought you might be interested. Btw, Swedish is a beautiful language.  Wink
The money will be donated to Retrospelmässan.

A friend of mine suggested the music from Shatterhand.

Yeah pretty cool music!

Armadillo Tank from Baltimore did a cover of the overworld music from this game, it's on their album.

Cool, glad you like it!

Edit: I just now understood the part where the vocal part slides from low to high. That's really clever.

Hmm, I'm not sure I get it.

This forum constantly gets messages from bots and I go here occasionally to remove them and ban their usernames. Bots are getting smarter and smarter though and I can tell they use scripts that scan threads for keywords to be able to post relevant messages.

If you have been taken for a bot and banned I apologize. When you register, try not to include links like "buy *censored* here" or "Casino black jack" in your signature or profile as you're more likely to be removed.

And you were right, 8 months.
Hahaha! Awesome.
But we have to forgive them since we got posted on Mega Man's birthday. Wink

You're a legend at OCR and we sit drooling over every song you submit  Grin
Aww, thanks!

I knew OCR would love this

Heh, well, I didn't! Wink

I agree that this is our best performance ever and like you I'm glad Juggler sort of became the center of appreciation, cuz he deserves it.

We're working on some new songs but knowing that it will be hard to top this, things are going a bit slow.

Okkusenman, how I love that song. Yes, the tune is from Megaman 2, but not the lyrics. So nostalgic, the memories come back.

I can't believe how that dude sings! It's like, you don't have to follow the original melody note by note to make a good arrangement but he does it! Hysterical.

How the hell did he do this?

Extract the maps, record a playthrough. Merge the two.
Record the characters position at various points (given that they didn't have a computer controlled rail-mounted camera they couldn't get that part perfect. You'll note that the camera doesn't follow mario perfectly).

Then you find a suitable location, calculate the length of the maps and note the positions where your character was at different points in time. Use that data to move the camera along from point to point, following the previously mentioned schedule.

The final part is merging the two through the use of fairly simple shape recognition software (recognize the shape upon which you're suppose to project the digital image. Pretty simple in this case). Tweak until you're satisfied.

Simple in theory, but requires a lot of work.

In other words, you've got to love Mario to do it!

Yeah that's like FF music but more straight forward. Nice and epic.  Cool
